JAG’s investment philosophy starts with the guiding principle the “Price Follows Earnings.” They believe companies that post faster earnings growth than their peers will realize superior stock performance. Therefore, they find and invest in companies with meaningful earnings power relative to the rest of the large-cap universe.

 

JAG is a bottom-up investment manager who looks at individual stock characteristics. They seek to own fundamentally-sound companies that have strong management teams and well-positioned product lines.

 

JAG will consider selling a stock out of the portfolio when there is any change in the qualitative characteristics of that stock which causes them to revisit their original assumptions on the growth rate and stock price appreciation potential.
